Final Day

Yesterday was the last day of the experiment. Yesterday was the last day of the experiment, and I believe that overall it has been a success. Over the last eight days I did not mess up once, but I have noticed that life is a little bit different without it. I noticed at the beginning at moments I would absentmindedly take my phone out to go on Facebook at work, at class, and while doing homework. This week not using Facebook has allowed me to stay more focused in class and while doing homework, thus allowing my week to be more productive. Today I noticed that I did replace one distraction with another at certain times. I noticed as the week progressed that I was checking the news before I went to sleep instead of checking Facebook. I noticed myself also doing this in class on occasion too. Although, this did not take up all the time I spent on Facebook. This experiment has helped me be more aware of how much time I spend doing daily activities.

  1. Its good that you know how much time you spend on facebook. In all honesty I would be scared to do this experiment because of how much time I probably waste just sitting on facebook doing nothing.
