Day Four
Today is March 25th, 2013 and this is the fourth day of my experiment. I haven't had any slip up yet, but there was a time during class where I did mindlessly take my phone out to check Facebook before I realized I could not. Other than that my results are the same as they were in the previous blog. I woke up a couple hours earlier today so I could study for my physics exam. Other times, that I have woken up early to study I have found my self taking breaks and going on Facebook to distract myself. This time though, without Facebook as a distraction, I was able to get a couple of quality hours of studying before my exam. I did not find myself substituting my Facebook time with trying to keep up with the Kardashians or something else. So far this experiment has been a success and may be something I keep up for the rest of the school year.

Your project idea is a really good one. I too noticed that I spent a lot of time of facebook this year and it was distracting my studies so I deleted it, and since then I feel like I've been a lot more productive with my time. There are a lot of good qualities to the website though and I will probably get back on this summer when I have more spare time. I like how you added that in as an example of how you didnt have a distraction while studying. I wish you luck on your project because I know how much of a habbit it is to just log in and check for a moment of boredom or something of that sort. Also are there other ways that you are contacting your friends from face book or did you mainly use it for the games? What do you miss most?
